We’ve been working hard to enhance your experience on AhaSlides. Here’s a deeper look at the improvements we’ve just rolled out:
To better support our French-speaking community, we’ve launched a French-language tutorial for the Categorise slide! You can now access a step-by-step video guide—available directly within the tooltip of the Categorise slide type. This tutorial will help you quickly understand how to set up and make the most of this highly engaging slide format.
This is just the beginning — expect more tutorials in French and other languages coming soon to make AhaSlides even easier to use for everyone!
We’ve renamed the Scale slide to Rating Scale based on feedback from users like you. The new name better reflects how this slide helps you collect scaled responses from your audience (e.g., 1 to 5 stars, or other rating systems). No changes to the functionality — just a clearer and more intuitive name to help you find the right slide for your needs faster.
The Rating Scale is perfect when you want your audience to rate something on a numerical or descriptive scale. Set your minimum and maximum values (e.g., 1 to 5, or 0 to 10) and customize the labels to match your context.
Training & Workshops: Quickly gauge how confident participants feel about a topic before or after a session.
Feedback Surveys: Collect satisfaction ratings for events, sessions, or specific content.
Team Meetings: Use it as a pulse check — “How aligned do you feel with our project goals this week?”
Customer Research: Measure customer attitudes and preferences on products or services.
Use clear and relatable scale labels (e.g., “Not at all satisfied” to “Extremely satisfied”).
Combine the Rating Scale with an open-ended question to capture the “why” behind a low or high rating.
Visualize results live during your presentation to encourage discussion or deeper reflection.
We’ve introduced a basic spellchecker across AhaSlides to help you catch spelling mistakes while creating your content. Right now, it will catch common errors in your questions, poll options, and text slides.
This is an early version, and while it’s here to help reduce typos, we’re already working on making it smarter, faster, and more accurate — especially for multi-language support and better context-based suggestions.
This spellchecker is also the first step in our broader Readiness Checker initiative, aimed at making sure every presentation runs smoothly. What’s next? Expect features like:
Slide Logic Warnings (e.g., incomplete quiz setups)
Audio & Visual Setup Checks
Audience Settings Reminders
Session Timer Alerts to keep you on track
Next to the spellchecker, you’ll now find a quick survey asking:
➡️ “What else would you like us to check before you present?”
Your feedback will directly influence which readiness tools we build next!
That’s all for now! We’re excited for you to try out these updates and would love to hear your feedback. More helpful improvements are coming your way soon!
