AhaSlides Hotkeys Guide

AhaSlides provides presenters with a convenient way to control their slides using keyboard shortcuts. This feature ensures that you maintain control over your presentation even when you don't have access to a mouse or pointer.
Notes
To view all available keyboard shortcuts at any time during your presentation, simply press K on your keyboard.


Keyboard Shortcuts

1. Display QR Code

To quickly display your QR code for audience access, press Q while presenting.

2. Start Presenting

If you're in the editor interface and ready to start your presentation, press Shift + P.

3. Return to Editor

During your presentation, you can return to the editor interface by pressing the Esc key.

4. Show / Hide Results

  • Show Results: To display the results on the screen, press H while presenting.
  • Hide Results: To hide the results, press H again.


5. Open / Close Submission

  • Open Submission: To allow participants to submit responses, press S while presenting.
  • Close Submission: To stop accepting responses, press S again.

6. Effects

AhaSlides offers a variety of fun effects to enhance your presentation. To access these effects, hover over the Effect icon in the bottom-left menu while presenting. The available effect hotkeys are:

  • Confetti: Press C to shower the screen with confetti.
  • Applause: Press A to play an applause sound.
  • Drumroll: Press D to initiate a drumroll.


7. Leaderboard

  • Show Leaderboard: To display the Leaderboard on the screen, press L while presenting.
  • Close Leaderboard: To close the Leaderboard, press L again or click anywhere outside of the Leaderboard.



Using these keyboard shortcuts, you can seamlessly navigate and control your AhaSlides presentation. Remember, pressing K will always show you the list of available hotkeys during your presentation. Enjoy a smoother, more interactive experience with AhaSlides!
