Importing a PPT or PDF File to AhaSlides Quiz

AhaSlides offers a seamless feature that allows trainers to effortlessly transform their PowerPoint (PPT) or PDF presentations into interactive quizzes using our AI Slides Generator function. This functionality not only saves time but also enhances engagement during training sessions. There are two ways to import your PPT or PDF files into AhaSlides for quiz generation:

Method 1: Using the AI Slides Generator

1. Open AI Slides Generator:
  1. Navigate to the AI Slides Generator within AhaSlides.
  2. Click on the 'Attachment' icon.
2. Upload Your File:
  1. Click on 'Browse File...' and select the PPT or PDF file you wish to upload.
  2. Wait for a few minutes while the AI generates the questions from your file. Note that larger presentations may take several minutes to complete.


3. Select Generated Questions:
  1. Once the AI has finished generating the slides, choose the questions you want to add to your presentation. You can also click one of the 5 options at the bottom to generate additional questions accordingly.


Method 2: Using the Import Button

1. Click on the Import Button:
  1. Locate and click the 'Import' button on the My Presentation dashboard or in the editing screen.




2. Upload and Generate:
  1. Click on 'Browse File...' and choose the PPT or PDF file you want to import.
  2. Make sure to check the box labeled 'Generate quiz from this document'.


3. Complete Import:
  1. After selecting your file, the AI will generate questions from your document. You can also click one of the 5 options at the bottom to generate additional questions accordingly.
  2. This method allows you to receive both the AI-generated questions and the imported slides from your file.


Please note that the generated slides are available as Pick Answer and Short Answer Slides only.
