Skip/hide slide while presenting

Skip/hide slide while presenting

The Skip Slide feature lets you temporarily hide slides from your presentation without deleting them. This is useful when you want to keep certain slides for future use but don't need them in your current session.
Notes
Currently, this feature is available only to a limited number of users. It will soon be released to all users.

How to skip a slide

On the slide list, right-click the slide you want to skip while presenting (or click the small 3-dot button on the left of it) and choose Skip slide

You will then see that it is hidden under the eye icon, and a message will appear stating that the slide will be skipped when presenting.

What happens during your presentation

When you start presenting, any skipped slides will be automatically bypassed. For example, if you skip slide 2 in your presentation, moving forward from slide 1 will take you directly to slide 3.0

Unskipping a slide

To include a skipped slide in your presentation again, simply right-click on the slide (or click the 3-dot button) and select Unskip slide to unskip it. Another option is to click Unskip next to the message "This slide is skipped while presenting." in the slide canvas:

The hidden eye icon will disappear, and the slide will appear normally during your next presentation.
