Multiple Presenters, One Presentation with the Presenter Role
You can now allow multiple presenters to run the same presentation at the same time, without affecting each other. You can also view reports of their sessions separately, while they can only view their own sessions.
Important note:
The Present role will not work on the PowerPoint add-in. If you would like multiple users to use the same presentation at once, they will need their own copies.
Invite your collaborators as Presenter
There are two ways to add collaborators to your presentation:
1. In the presentation editor toolbar - You'll see an icon containing your profile image and a ''+'' icon
2. You can also click on the Share menu button and choose Add Collaborators tab
Either of these options will take you to the invitation menu. From here, you can enter your collaborators email addresses and choose Presenter role for them:
Collaborators will then be able to use your presentation at any time, each with their own unique join link and QR code. Even though they’re accessing the same presentation, each session is treated separately and runs independently from the others.
How does Presenter Role work?
Collaborator added as Presenter can find your presentation in the Share with me page after logging in.
They will also gain the following permissions in your presentation:
- View the presentation
- Present the presentation
- Reset results
- View the report and export the results (of their own sessions)
They will not be able to edit the presentation. When the presentation owner makes changes to the presentation, collaborators with Presenter role can click Get the latest to receive the updated version of the presentation.
Viewing the report of each session
As the Presentation Owner, you can view reports for sessions conducted by both you and your collaborators. A new session is recorded each time anyone resets the presentation's results.
To see all sessions, you can open the report page of the presentation:
Your AhaSlides Presentation Report, and click the
Session list box next to the presentation owner's name. A pop-up window with the list of sessions will appear for you to select:
Collaborators added as Presenter will only have access to reports for the sessions they've conducted:
